Permit Expiry

Permit expiry is the date by which construction must begin or a permit renewal must be filed. If the deadline passes, the EPC may need to restart the permitting process: a costly and schedule-destroying event.

Most jurisdictions include expiry dates on permit documents, but they are rarely tracked proactively. A busy PM with 15 active projects cannot reliably monitor expiry windows across multiple AHJs.

The Permit Agent extracts expiry dates from permit documents, calculates warning windows, and escalates alerts to the PM channel before deadlines become problems.
